E.O.M.S. Recycling, Inc. (Environmental Operations Management Services) is a family-run, Massachusetts locally owned and operated, full-service recycling and waste removal company.

E.O.M.S. Recycling was founded in 1995 by Lou Tarentino as a food distribution company. While Lou was out distributing food to his clients, he noticed a significant amount of his clients' cardboard was being thrown in the trash dumpsters.

This cardboard not only took up a lot of space in his customers' dumpsters, it also was a recyclable material.

Noticing this waste, Lou started offering his customers cardboard collection, as well. All of this was done with his small pick-up truck and a trailer.

At night, he spent his time bundling the cardboard to get it ready to drop off at the recycling facility the next morning.

Local Recycling Innovator

As his customers realized a significant savings from diverting the cardboard from their trash dumpsters and demand grew for recycling, Lou built his first "cardboard recycling dumpster" consisting of some scrap metal, rope, and shopping cart wheels. Lou quickly earned the name "King of Cardboard."

In 1996, Lou purchased his first front load packer and containers to efficiently collect and separate what was being recycled.

Today, E.O.M.S. Recycling has a fleet of vehicles and thousands of containers for all recycling needs and solid waste / trash removal. E.O.M.S. Recycling offers these services to commercial, industrial, and government entities.

Providing Education & Waste Law Compliance

E.O.M.S. Recycling provides its customers with sound resource management solutions and as well as education.

From recycling paper and plastics to offering trash removal and composting services, E.O.M.S. Recycling provides compliance for its customers to MASS DEP waste ban laws that many businesses are not aware of, often mitigating risk on their behalf.
